Radio Hour honors the family values and traditions of the "greatest generation."  The swinging sounds of big band music and hilarious backstage antics, dancing and old-time sound effects come together in this show to make a wonderful theatrical experience.  The world may be locked in the titanic struggle of the Second World War, but inside the studio of the WOV radio station, the show must go on!  Their weekly broadcast of The Mutual Manhattan Variety Cavalcade lifts the spirits of our boys overseas and the families they left behind.

This musical comedy takes place in a small 5000 watt New York City radio station (WOV) and centers around a group of performers and their attempts to make it to the "big time" in show biz.  The radio program is seen through the eyes of the theatre audience who become the actual 1940's radio station audience.

This nostalgic and funny production includes such old time song greats as Blue Moon, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Old Black Magic, Ain't She Sweet, Kalamazoo, Merry Little Christmas and 17 other numbers from the era.  With its tuneful score, high-energy comedy, and the romantic overtones for a bygone era, this is a show for the entire family!
