KIDS ALIVE! Returns To Theater Works This Fall with auditions held September 8th, 2011

KIDS ALIVE! is a singing, acting and dancing troupe for young performers. Kids joining the group will make new friends, sing great music and perform for the theater and the community. In order to participate kids will need to audition on September 8th at 5 p.m. This year KIDS ALIVE! will be under the direction of Athena Hunting, Theater Works Youth Programs Manager. KIDS ALIVE! will run September 8th through December 31st and is only $45 per month. The performance this year is Rock Toyz a rock and roll musical written by Britishman Greg Snape!

Don't miss auditions on Thursday, September 8, 2011, at 5PM!!! Bring a headshot or picture, and a karaoke CD that you feel good about singing (optional)! Rehearsals will be late Sunday afternoons, time TBA. First month's membership dues will be required on September 11th, at the first rehearsal.

Rock Toyz will be performed during the Winter Holiday!!! It has great roles and cool songs! Athena heard Snape's music and thought, "Wow! Our kids will love this!" And they do! We premiered the song, "Rock Toyz" at the Broadway Bound camp performance this summer for over 200 people in attendance - and it was a BIG HIT! "Total Grooviness" - The Rockin Good Toy Times.

Athena Hunting, Kids Alive director, is an accomplished actor, director, writer and musical performer. Athena has directed and performed for several theatres in the Valley and nationwide.
