"HOTEL SAGUARO": Meet silly Sammy Saguaro, his wise Grandpa and the desert birds and animals that call the saguaro their home in this funny, award-winning show about this amazing cactus and its role here in the beautiful Sonoran Desert.
SPECIAL GUEST ARTIST PARASOL PUPPETS presents "LITTLE RED RIDING BUG": Little Red Riding Bug is on her way with a basket of goodies to visit her Granny, who flew a little too close to a bug light for comfort. But who should Little Red meet on her journey through the grass but the Big, Bad Frog! A cast of hand puppet bugs, including Dr. Pillbug, Little Red's Mama and a collection of critters on their way to a fancy dress bug ball illustrate a lively tale loosely based on the classic story. ADULT PUPPET SLAM: Part of an ongoing series of puppet shows for adults, the Slam brings together quirky, edgy puppeteers presenting exciting short works for adults. Outrageous, moving, bawdy, controversial -- expect the unexpected! Featuring special guest artist PETER ALLEN of PARASOL PUPPETS. ADULTS ONLY, ages 18+. $10 if PAID at least 24 hours in advance, $12 day-of-show. 8pm both nights.
