Fountain Hills Youth Theater Presents BEAUTY AND THE BEAST JR., Closes 9/11

Fountain Hills Youth Theater announces the opening show of their 2011-12 Season with Beauty and the Beast Jr., book by Linda Wolverton, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, music by Alan Menken.

The brainy and beautiful Belle yearns to escape her provincial life...and her brute of a suitor, Gaston. However, Belle gets more adventures than she wanted when she becomes a captive in the Beast's enchanted castle! Dancing flatware, menacing wolves, and singing furniture fill the stage with thrills in this beloved fairy tale about very different people finding strength in one another and learning how to love.

Beauty and the Beast Jr. is directed by Ross Collins, with musical direction by Bill Moore, and choreography by Noel Irick. The show is produced by Anne Kelleher and stage managed by Linda Ferington.

Beauty and the Beast Jr. cast includes: Alexa Agostinelli, Gianna Agostinelli, Logan Barrett, Summer Beckman, Skylar Bickley, Trevor Bowler, Alexa Buttafuoco, Natalie Demirjian, Devin Derr, Chris Disney, Nick Disney, Jennifer Green, Danie Grief, Jodie Grief, Peyton Jordan, Natalie Kilker, Andrey Lull, Connor Klein, Haylee Klein, Nick Maddox, Katie Male, Alyssa Matas, Patrick Moyse, Bailey Pyritz, Ryan Smith, Emily Spets, Jenna Spets, Molly Stellino, Brittany Tews, Morgan Tuazon, Carli Van Valkenberg and Hunter Wright.

Beauty and the Beast Jr. will play at the Youth Theater located at 11445 N. Saguaro Blvd. in Fountain Hills, (1 ½ miles North of Shea Blvd. on Saguaro Blvd.). Beauty and the Beast Jr. is produced in co-operation with Music Theatre International.
