Opening Friday the 13th, the 200-year-old tale of Creature and Creator comes alive on Theater Works stage!

Considered by many to be one of the first examples of science fiction, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus will come to life on Theater Works' stage. Childlike in his innocence but grotesque in form, Frankenstein's lost and bewildered Creature is cast out in a hostile world by his horror-struck creator. Meeting with cruelty wherever he goes, the friendless Creature, increasingly desperate and vengeful, determines to track down his creator and strike a terrifying deal.

This brilliant adaptation of Mary Shelly's thrilling and deeply disturbing classic take raises urgent issues of scientific responsibility, parental neglect, cognitive development and the nature of good and evil.
