East Valley Women's League Fundraiser to Support Its Community Projects

The East Valley Women's League (EVWL) is presenting Downtown Funk...Uptown Style to benefit its community projects on Saturday, March 18 from 6-11 p.m. at Events on Jackson, 245 E. Jackson St. in Phoenix.

Mix 96.9 personality Mathew Blades will emcee the event which includes dinner, dancing, cocktails and live and silent auctions. Among the items available through the auctions are a trip to Napa Valley, golf and spa packages, Arizona wine and jewelry.

Tickets purchased by February 28th are $125 and include one free raffle ticket. After the deadline event tickets remain $125 and raffle tickets are one for $20 or six for $100. Tables of 12 are available for $1400. Event tickets can be purchase at www.evwl.org

Downtown Funk...Uptown Style is sponsored by Estenson Logistics, Big Two Toyota of Chandler, Orangetheory Fitness, Harris Home Design, Coffin & Trout and other local businesses and friends.

Each year East Valley Women's League's projects impact thousands of women and children in the community. EVWL's largest project, The Cinderella Affair, gives prom dresses, shoes, jewelry and purses to more than 1,000 high school juniors and seniors each spring. The organization's projects also include hygiene kits with full-size toiletries for boys and girls in foster care, holiday gift baskets for elderly, homebound women and more than $200,000 in college scholarships.
