East Valley Children's Theatre announces Winter Session 2011. Classes for Ages 5-15 beginning Jan. 24, 2011.

Mondays beginning Jan. 24 thru Feb. 28, 2011
Class 13: Treasure Trunk Plays (ages 5-8): A creative drama class that will explore the basic skills of theatre and performance. Instructor: Gingi Cullipher
Class 14: Introduction to Acting (ages 8-12): A basic introductory acting class for youth who have little or no experience in theatre or want to review the basics of stage performance. Instructor: Gingi Cullipher

Tuesdays beginning Jan. 25 thru March 1, 2011
Class 15: Character Development for Actors (ages 8-15): A class that teaches basic skills for developing characters, including movement, vocal, and facial expressions. Instructor: Nicole Gibson-Rice
Class 16: Acting Techniques Through Improvisation (ages 8-15): A class that teaches basic improv techniques that lead to better acting and performance skills. Instructor: Nicole Gibson-Rice

Wednesdays beginning Jan. 26 thru March 2, 2011
Class 17: Musical Theatre Skills for Actors (ages 8-15): This is a class on teaching and refining musical theatre skills, including techniques in singing, dancing, and acting for a musical production. Instructor: Ariana Ziskin

Cost for one six-week class is $60
Cost for two six-week classes is $110
FEES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE OR TRANSFERABLE

All classes are held at the EVCT Rehearsal Studio, 4830 E. Main St., Mesa (located between Greenfield and Higley on the north side of the street in Arden Square)

Class sizes are limited, so register early to insure your spot in the class.
