Dia de Los Muertos

Mesa Arts Center ignites in a celebration of departed loved ones in the traditional manner observed for centuries in places across Mexico. The Day of The Dead festival will feature delicious foods, a colorful mercado featuring an assortment of traditional and contemporary merchandise, jewelry, Mexican arts & crafts and more from local artisans and vendors. Live entertainment, food, and family fun will be abundant!

After obtaining a permit from the U.S. Forest Service, he and his wife Jamie lived in a tented camp on The Edge of Idaho's Sawtooth Wilderness. There, they documented and intimately observed the social hierarchy and behavior of the now famous Sawtooth Pack, a family of wolves bottle-fed and nurtured from captive pups. Over six years, the Dutchers' unprecedented experiences resulted in three Emmy Award-winning documentaries that changed the public perception of wolves.

Hawkwind

World renowned space rock pioneers, Hawkwind, have announced the dates for their first North American tour in nearly 20 years. At the helm of the group is leader and founding member Dave Brock. He will bejoined by long-time members Dead Fred, Tim Blake, Richard Chadwick, Mr. Dibs, and Niall Hone,Hawkwind's longest standing line up. The tour commemorates the anniversary and re-release of the band'slandmark 1975 album, "Warrior on The Edge of Time". Hawkwind will perform the album in its entiretyalong with classic tracks selected from their 40+ year history. Fifth Annual 10 x 10 Benefit Show

Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum is pleased to announce its Fifth Annual 10 x 10 Benefit Show, which will feature the work of artists from Arizona and beyond. Participating artists are asked to create an original work of art in keeping with the 10 x 10 theme. The completed pieces will then be sold at the 10 x 10 Benefit Show on October 10th for $100 each.* All proceeds benefit Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum exhibition and educational programs.
