TV, Film and Broadway star Charles Shaughnessy returns to Scottsdale Musical Theater Company this December as Ebenezer Scrooge in the musical A Christmas Carol (December 6 - 23, 2018) at Tempe Center for the Arts.
The star of TV's "Days of Our Lives" and "The Nanny" as well as Broadway's Urinetown happily returns to SMTC after playing Julian Marsh in 42nd Street opposite Debby Boone and Eloise Kropp.
This musical version of A Christmas Carol features music by Alan Menken (Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Hunchback of Notre Dame, Little Shop of Horrors) and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens (Anastasia, Ragtime, Seussical). SMTC's production will be directed by David Hock, with dance choreography by Hillary Conrad. Musical direction will be by Joni Van Rossum, with our live 20+piece orchestra conducted by Kevin Hayward.
