Center Dance Ensemble Celebrates National Poetry Month with AMERICAN VOICES

Center Dance Ensemble celebrates the poetic impact of movement and words as it presents its 2016/17 finale, American Voices on April 23rd in the Herberger Theater's Kax Theater at 2 pm and 5 pm. American Voices is held in celebration of National Poetry Month and will feature works inspired by American poets and choreographed by Center Dance Ensemble dancers. Performances will also be presented by Dance Theater West's Storybook Dance Theater and readings by high school poets from the Poetry Out Loud regional competition, the national recitation contest for high-school poets.

Tickets are $16 adults/$10 students and $13 for seniors and maybe purchased at www.herbergertheater.org or by calling 602-252-8497.

Lunch Time Dance Theater Performances will be held April 19 & 20 at 12:10 pm. Tickets are $6; bring or buy lunch.
