Canyon Moon Present 'Showcase 2010,' 8/30

Canyon Moon Theatre presents Showcase 2010, a special benefit event, on Monday, August 30, 7:30 p.m. at the theater.  Favorite performers, students and local celebrities are joining to create a fun-filled evening of theatre and music to help CMT meet its urgent fundraising goal and keep professional theater in Sedona alive.

Among the featured performers, will be Tom and Shondra, Brad Roberts, Rabbi Alicia and Ike Magall, Jeff Masters, Jamie and Ilana Maletz, Jeanie Carroll, Bob and Teri Bays, Gerard Maguire and Mike Peach.

After two years of Sedona's torn-up roads and lingering nation-wide effects of the 2008 economic crash, the impact on our theater, as on so many in the country as a whole, has been severe.  In order to ensure CMT's survival, the theater must raise $30,000 in the next weeks.  Due to the generous support of the community, they have already received over $10,000 in individual pledges.
