Canyon Moon Offers 2010 Summer Classes

Is your child the class clown or drama queen? Do they dream of Broadway or glue themselves to the screen when Glee comes on? Then bring them to Canyon Moon where creativity is applauded and fun is never far away!

OnStage Kids!

OnStage Kids! is an exciting journey into the world of theatre for young people ages 9 - 12. The class will create a play while learning the basics of improvisation, acting skills and movement. Your child will enjoy a week of fun covering all aspects of theatre. Classes run July 19 to 23, Monday through Friday from10 AM to 1 PM. Showcase on July 23 at 12:30. The tuition for OnStage Kids! is $99. Class size is limited.

OnStage Teens!

OnStage Teens is a two-week course for students ages 13 - 17. The class begins with improvisation work and moves into an exploration of voice, stage movement and acting technique as students create a play for the final showcase. Classes run July 26 to August 6, Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM with a final showcase on August 6 at noon. The tuition for Acting for Teens is $199.00. Class size is limited.

Both classes are taught by master teacher Mary Guaraldi, Producing Artistic Director of Canyon Moon.

We will be offering a $15 discount for each additional child enrolled in Summer Classes. Some scholarship money is available. Classes will be at Canyon Moon Theatre in the Oak Creek Factory Outlets on Hwy 179 in the Village of Oak Creek. The theatre is located three doors down from the GAP.
