The Arizona Broadway Theatre will close its production of CATS on April 11th.
One of the world's best-known and best-loved musicals, CATS has pounced into the hearts of audiences all over the world. It's an all-singing, all-dancing spectacle based on T. S. Eliot's Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats with music by Andrew Lloyd Webber that has been translated into over 20 languages. With mega-hits like "Memory," CATS won seven Tony awards in 1983, including Best Musical, and went on to become one of the longest-running shows in Broadway history.
The mission of the ABT Performing Arts Association, Inc. is to promote awareness and appreciation of and provide a platform for the performing arts - producing and presenting live theatre, educating people about theatrical expression, enriching lives and generally supporting the performing arts by offering staffing, programs and services to performing artists, youth and community groups in the greater Phoenix area.
