Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre presents The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. Based on the true story of a legendary brothel, this Tony Award winning musical features a country and western score. Performances continue now through February 14, 2009. Press Night is Friday, January 9.

Adult ticket prices range from $39 to $54 and include a buffet meal. Show Only seats are available for $28. Purchase tickets online at broadwaypalmwest.com or by calling the Box Office at (480) 325-6700.

The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas is based on a house of ill-repute known as "The Chicken Ranch"; given its name due to the Depression-era custom of allowing patrons to pay with poultry. Protected by the friendly local Sheriff and frequented by politicians, football teams and ordinary folk, Miss Mona and her girls lived in harmony with the local residents of Gilbert, Texas. When a crusading local television reporter makes it his mission to make the illegal activity at the Chicken Ranch an issue, the ladies of the Chicken Ranch take on the establishment in rip-roarin' style. Nominated for seven 1979 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, the country and western score features the songs "Hard Candy Christmas," "Girl You're a Woman," "The Aggie Song" and "Twenty-Four Hours of Lovin'."

COME TO THE CABARET! On select Saturday Evenings there is a post-show cabaret! The talented cast of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas presents an intimate concert of classic and contemporary musical theatre songs. Admission is free and all-ages are welcome to attend. Saturday Evening Cabarets begin approximately 20 minutes after the end of the show.
