What would YOU do if the Nazis came to power? How would your daily life be changed? This is the question asked by ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT, winner of Best New Play in Chicago Award, which premieres in Arizona at Theater Works beginning April 13. ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT is inspired by interviews with German Gentile women who lived through the Third Reich. The play's sweep follow them from their teen years through adulthood as they struggle with the trials of everyday living - work, religion, marriage, motherhood -under the Nazi regime. Facing impossible choices, they survive or succumb and all are changed forever.
The play will be performed in the intimate McMillin Theater from April 13th - May 13th. Tickets are on $29/adult and $19/student plus fees.
Directed by Richard Powers Hardt, ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT was written by award-winning playwright Shirley Lauro.
