Theater Works is proud to announce that they are the recipients of a $150,000 grant from Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust. This grant will allow Theater Works to research and establish a costume/prop and set piece storage and rental shop. For the first five months Theater Works will receive $48,000 to begin the planning phase. Once the planning phase is complete and Virginia G. Piper Charitable Trust reviews the research Theater Works will receive $108,000 for the new facility's implementation phase. This new facility will allow Theater Works to save money by storing and reusing costumes and props, as well as, increase revenue by renting costumes and props to theaters nationwide. The funds from the rental shop will then be used to further our youth programming and community outreach programs.
