This musical focuses on a young girl Susie who was born with no legs. Her shoemaker-father, the best in their area, wants to have a ballerina for a daughter which make matters more complicated.

To escape from her difficult situation, Susie retreats to “dreamland,” where she can play and dance with the Shoes that come to life. Susie then asks the Shoe Fairy to give her a pair of legs for her father’s birthday so she can fulfill his wish.

Tanghalang Pilipino's first children's sung-through musical (meaning, the entire material is sung and dialogues are only limited to a 1-liner) returns to CCP this December 2013.
