Manila, Philippines--Producers Globe and 9 Works Theatrical, together with BroadwayWorld.com Philippines, are giving away 10 shirts and five (5) pairs of tickets to the Manila production of the smash Broadway and West End rock musical AMERICAN IDIOT by Green Day on Sunday, July 3, 8 p.m. at the Globe Iconic Store at Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater in Taguig City via a digital lottery. >Only five (5) people will win the five (5) pairs of tickets: two tickets per winner plus two shirts each.

>Entries will be accepted online HERE beginning Tuesday, June 14, until Sunday, June 26.

>Limit one entry per person; entries will be checked for duplicates.

>Winners will be notified via email and/or SMS on Monday, June 27.

>Lastly, winners may pick up their tickets and shirts at a designated place at the performance venue one hour before curtain time on Sunday, July 3, at 8 p.m.

AMERICAN IDIOT tells the story of three boyhood friends: Johnny, Will, and Tunny. Each is searching for meaning in a post 9/11 world. Winner of two Tony Awards, Best Scenic Design of a Musical for Christine Jones and Best Lighting Design of a Musical for Kevin Adams, and winner of the Grammy Award for Best Musical Show Album, AMERICAN IDIOT opened on Broadway in 2010 and in the West End in 2015. Besides the hit songs from Green Day's album AMERICAN IDIOT such as "American Idiot," "Boulevard of Broken Dreams," "Holiday," "Wake Me Up When September Ends," and "Jesus of Suburbia," the musical also includes several songs from Green Day's "21st Century Breakdown" album and an unreleased ballad "When It's Time."

Directed by Robbie Guevara, AMERICAN IDIOT stars former Rivermaya band vocalists Jason Fernandez (Johnny) and Norby David (Theo), Chicosi band lead vocalist Miggy Chavez (Will), Wolfgang band lead vocalist Basti Artadi (St. Jimmy), Nel Gomez (Tunny), Yanah Laurel (Whatsername), Alex Godinez (Heather), Ela Lisondra (Extraordinary Girl), Kai Atienza, Ariel Reonal (Favorite Son), Gian Gloria, Mako Alonso, Sarah Facuri, Chesko Rodriguez, Shalee Vicencio, Mark Tayag, and Kendrick Ibasco.

AMERICAN IDIOT was written by Billie Joe Armstrong and Michael Mayer, with music by Green Day and lyrics by Billie Joe Armstrong.
