Share Vintage Photos of Your Folks; Win Tickets to SINGIN' IN THE RAIN

Manila, Philippines--Concertus Manila, the Philippines-based promoter of the international touring production of Broadway and London West End's hit musical SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, based on the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film by special arrangement with Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures Inc., is calling for vintage photo entries to its Facebook-based contest titled "Throwback To The Classics: Photo Contest*, running now until Friday, May 15.

SINGIN' IN THE RAIN is one the world's beloved musicals on film, which was co-directed by and starred Gene Kelly. It tells the story of the first Hollywood musical (circa 1930s), when the silver screen found its voice and left silent movies--and some of its stars--behind.

To enter the photo contest, simply scan and upload on Facebook an old photo of your parents and/or grandparents in their younger years, wearing classic clothes. Set the privacy setting of the photo to "Public"; tag Concertus Manila; and place hashtag #SITRManila.

Concertus Manila will collect all the photos and upload them on its Facebook page.

The company will choose the best photo from the entries; the winner, which will be announced on Friday, May 15, will receive a pair of tickets to see SINGIN' IN THE RAIN this August!

SINGIN' IN RAIN will run at The Theatre at Solaire (Solaire Resort and Casino Entertainment City, Paranaque 1 Aseana Avenue, Paranaque City) from Thursday, August 20, to Sunday, September 6.
