Go bested four other veteran theater actresses nominated in the same category: Liesl Batucan for Upstart Productions' "Forbidden Broadway," Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo for Atlantis Productions' "Nine," Shiela Valderrama-Martinez for Resorts World Manila's "The King and I," and Claire Lyon for Lunchbox Theatrical Productions' international touring production of "The Phantom of the Opera."

After singing an excerpt of "Part of Your World," the signature song from "The Little Mermaid," Go's "Party Pilipinas" co-hosts Isabelle Daza, Richard Gutierrez, and Solenn Heussaff awarded her the framed certificate from BWW New York and the Philippines.

The BWW Awards are theater fan choice awards, which garnered more than 4,000 nominations from the Philippines last year. Nominees were trimmed down to 125.

Go's supporters in every corner of the globe voted online for her from November to December 31, 2012.

She thanks both BWW New York and the Philippines for the recognition.

The Asian Premiere of Disney's "The Little Mermaid" also earned other BWW Awards: Cecile Martinez for Best Choreography (Musical), Eric Pineda for Best Costume Design (Musical/Play), Erik Santos for Best Crossover Artist (Mainstream to Theater), Bobby Garcia and Chari Arespacochaga for Best Direction of a Musical, Ceejay Javier for Best Musical Direction (Musical), Lex Marcos for Best Scenic Design (Musical/Play), Bobbit Jacinto for Best Sound Design (Musical/Play), and Best Locally-Produced Broadway Show (Musical/Play).
