In "Trumperte," catch Santos in his hilarious impressions of US President Donald Trump and Philippine President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, and many more!
Directed by Michael Williams, the show is written by Santos, Enrico Santos, and Joel Mercado.
The show is an extra special project for Santos, one of the country's top political impersonators, because it caps his 30th anniversary in show business.
"Napaka-encouraging that we all laugh at the same places. There's hope na alam pa rin natin ang tama at mali. Nakaka-encourage na they [audience] support live comedy as a form of healing. And they dress up, they buy a ticket, and they brave the traffic to bond with other human beings," says Santos.
PETA, on the other hand, feels that the inclusion of Santos' "Trumperte" in its "Stage of the Nation" campaign would liven up the conversations with the audience even more. After all, at the core of the wicked, hilarious spoofing, "Trumperte" really is a careful, sophisticated social and political commentary.
