Manila, Philippines, March 25, 2013 -- A bittersweet love story that chronicles the end of one relationship and the beginning of another, that is the plot of the new rock musical "Sa Wakas," by Culture Shock Productions, in cooperation with Fringe MNL.

"Sa Wakas," featuring the songs by Sugarfree, one of the country's most popular alternative rock bands best known for its songs "Mariposa," "Burnout," "Wag Ka Nang Umiyak," "Hari ng Sablay," and "Makita Kang Muli," plays limited run at PETA-PHINMA Theater from Saturday, April 13 to Sunday, April 28.

In the video, (together with the cast of "Sa Wakas") Ebe Dancel, vocalist, guitarist of Sugarfree, performs his new composition, "Bawat Daan," specifically written for the musical. At a recent press conference, Dancel mentioned that "Bawat Daan" talks about "moving on and embracing one's past."

The musical's book is written by Andrei Nikolai Pamintuan ("Stages of Love," Fringe MNL) and Mariane A.R.T. Abuan (Fringe MNL). Musical arrangement is by Ejay Yatco ("Spring Awakening," "Edges").

The production gathers some of the best, most talented young thespians: Fred Lo ("Rent," "The Sound of Music"), Victor Robinson III ("Si Juan Tamad, Ang Diyablo...," "Batang Rizal"), Caisa Borromeo ("Little Women," "West Side Story"), Laura Cabochan ("Edges"), Kyla Rivera ("Honk! The Ugly Duckling," "Footloose"), Justine Peña ("Camp Rock," "Bare"), Lucia Kristina Francesca M. David ("Care Divas," "Batang Rizal"), Abi Sulit ("Stages of Love"), Hans Dimayuga ("Secret Garden," "Oliver!"), and Cassie Manalastas ("Little Shop of Horrors," "Stages of Love").
