Manila, Philippines--MISS SAIGON producer Cameron Mackintosh has just released the details of the open call auditions for the upcoming global productions of the show whose reimagined 25th-anniversary production took London by storm and is set to open on Broadway next year, starring Eva Noblezada as Kim and Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer.

The open call auditions on March 15 to 16, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., will be held in Manila (Opera Haus, 3657 Bautista St., Makati City). Atlantis Theatrical Entertainment Group's (ATEG) Bobby Garcia will co-facilitate the auditions.

Garcia said in a statement, "MISS SAIGON's producing and creative team will be flying in from London...I look forward to working with them in discovering a new generation of Filipino talent to shine on the international stage in Miss Saigon the way Lea Salonga, Leo Valdez, Jon Jon Briones, Joanna Ampil, and Rachelle Ann Go, among many others, have in the past."

He added, "We're searching for Kim, The Engineer, Thuy, Gigi, and all Asian roles in the musical. We're looking for leads and ensemble, as well as acrobatic dancers. We encourage performers throughout the Asian region to come to Manila and audition for Miss Saigon."

All applicants must be 16 to 40 years old with Asian/Eurasian features and strong singing voices (all vocal ranges) and proficient in the English language. Some dance movement experience preferred.

During the registration on March 11 to 12, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (same venue as the auditions), bring photo and CV.

Prepare 16 bars of a song from Miss Saigon (a pianist will be provided to accompany the applicant). Otherwise, the applicant must bring own sheet music or CD.
