Wendy Wasserstein is one of the best-loved writers in the modern theater. Wendy Wasserstein’s Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning play The Heidi Chronicles was produced as part of our very first season. Wasserstein’s play Uncommon Women and Others, written when she was at Yale Drama School, was filmed with Meryl Streep and Swoosie Kurtz.
