To celebrate Women’s History Month, the Colonial Theatre is spotlighting women in cinema across its programming! Throughout the month, the theater will showcase a series of influential films, celebrating trailblazing directors, actresses, compelling stories, and strong female characters who have left a lasting impact on cinema and society. The lineup features a diverse selection of women-led films, including A League of Their Own, Wonder Woman, Amélie, Gas Food Lodging, Brave, and The Color Purple—each highlighting the power, resilience, and brilliance of women on screen.
