Some of the most talented students from across the Greater Philadelphia area with Philadelphia Youth Jazz Orchestra (PYJO) will be performing a free concert this Saturday at Temple Performing Arts Center at 4pm. See a jazzy take on holiday classics and support our most talented young musicians from our communities!
Director and Conductor Justin Faulkner, the drummer for Branford Marsalis’ jazz quartet, shares his excitement:
“PYJO’s program is a celebration of creativity and history, blending iconic jazz works with a fresh, youthful energy. Our students have poured their hearts into these pieces, and we look forward to sharing the joy and spontaneity of jazz with our community.”
