Kelly Kaduce returns to the Minnesota Opera stage as the tragic heroine, Butterfly. Seduced by the handsome American naval officer Pinkerton, the young geisha falls deeply in love. But his betrayal leads to one of opera’s most heartrending conclusions. Minnesota Opera’s celebrated production evokes the beauty and romance of Puccini’s gorgeous, unforgettable classic. Sung in Italian with English translations projected above the stage.
