El argumento de Forever Young transcurre en el año 2050. Sus protagonistas son un grupo de ancianos que viven en un antiguo teatro reconvertido en residencia de artistas retirados. Algunas noches se suben al escenario con sus mejores galas y rememoran (o inventan) sus éxitos de antaño. En cuanto la enfermera que les cuida les deja solos, su indómito espíritu rebelde sale a la luz para dejar constancia de que los viejos rockeros nunca mueren: cantan, bailan y gritan tanto como les permiten sus esqueletos.
