The Crossing, a three-time GRAMMY Award-winning chamber choir conducted by Donald Nally, presents the New York premiere of Can We Know the Sound of Forgiveness at Carnegie Hall's Zankel Hall. This immersive performance features a score by Gabriela Ortiz and text by Benjamin Alire Sáenz, exploring themes of healing and forgiveness through a multidisciplinary approach. The production also includes master flutist Alejandro Escuer, dancers from the Alvin Ailey School choreographed by Harrison Guy, and a percussion quartet from the University of Miami.
