York Little Theatre is holding auditions on August 30 and 31, 2010, for their upcoming original production of Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars which runs October 29 - November 7, 2010 and is the first production in their 2010-11 rabbittransit children's series.

The plot begins when the greatest detective finds himself under house arrest and he turns to a gang of street urchins to solve his mysteries. But even with the help of Dr. Watson and the interest of a mysterious benefactor, these young sleuths soon find themselves caught in a tangled web that even the mighty Holmes could not easily unravel.

Sherlock Holmes and the Baker Street Irregulars is written by Heather Wallen and directed by Michael Crone.

YLT is looking for a large ensemble of youth and adult actors. Anyone interested in auditioning should contact York Little Theatre either at info@ylt.org or 717-854-3894 to schedule an appointment. Auditioners should come prepared to read cold from the script and bring all known conflicts from September through November 7.
