York Little Theatre is holding auditions on August 3 and 4, for their upcoming production of Frozen which runs October 9-18, 2009.
Frozen is a powerful play which entwines the lives of a murderer, the mother of his victim, and a psychologist. It explores our capacity for forgiveness and remorse after an horrific act that threatens to leave us frozen. Written by Bryony Lavery, Frozen is the first of York Little Theatre's 2009-2010 Studio Series of plays which are evocative and provocative, edgy and powerful performance pieces. They seek to draw audiences in with a unique look at what it means to be human and challenge everyday beliefs.
Auditioners should contact York Little Theatre either at info@ylt.org or 717-854-3894 to schedule an appointment. Actors will be asked to read cold selections. This play contains mature content and actors under 18 will not be permitted to audition.
