Walking Fish Theatre is proud to once again present the sketch comedy troupe, HIGH DRAMMA. Every month, HIGH DRAMMA brings its irreverent, envelope-pushing scripted comedy sketches to the stage at Walking Fish Theatre. Beverages are available at all shows. The upcoming shows are all at 9pm, on January 29 & 39, 2010.
High Dramma presents: High Dramma.
High Dramma has become decadent and depraved, like a late Roman emperor, drunk on its own power and authority. They have elected their own horse to the Sketch Comedy Senate, married their sister, a little-known dramatic group called "Low Commedy", and roamed around while a bunch of fiddles burned, which was more out of confusion than a particular distaste for morals and decency. And, in a move of unprecedented pomposity, they're doing a self-titled show. Yes, that's right, in a fit of monstrous hubris, on Friday, January 29th and Saturday, January 30th, High Dramma will be presenting "High Dramma" at 9:00pm at the Walking Fish Theatre. It's not too late to rise up and destroy these vainglorious reprobates. Remember, the revolution will not be televised, but at least it will be funny. HIGH DRAMMA is Zac Ross, Adam Crego, D.C. Fisher, Johnny Smith (Walking Fish Theatre's Fresh Fish 2.0, Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre's Henry V ), Jen Jaynes (Strawflower Productions' The Do's and Don'ts of Time Travel) and Jackie Wolfson, who couple their training in the fine arts with caustic wit to take the boo out of taboos. They've been playing to sold-out houses throughout the season and can make you squirm, groan and guffaw, in no particular order. Tickets are $10 each and available at the door, or at http://www.walkingfishtheatre.com, where there's never a handling fee. Walking Fish Theatre is located at 2509 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19125. Season sponsors at the Walking Fish include Palm Imports and Torreo Coffee.Videos
