Transmissions Theatre is proud to present their newest production, A Porch at the Edge of the World November 10-14 at the Luna Theater. Deep in the heart of Siberia, the Lykov family survived in complete isolation for over 50 years. A Porch at the Edge of the World tells the story of Agafia Lykov, who must choose between her dreams and her traditions when the outside world comes crashing in and throws her secluded existence into chaos. Transmissions Theatre weaves Russian folklore, magical realism and larger than life puppetry into this amazing true tale.

Transmissions Theatre's past productions include the ''captivating" Jug-Baby, (NO Fringe, '14), the "fiendishly satisfying noir comedy/thriller" Rails (NO Fringe, '13, Philly Fringe '09), the epic sci-fi adventure Iminami, hailed as "pure genius" by Philadelphia Weekly, and the "utterly, transcendently bizarre" Water Bears in Space.

A Porch at the Edge of the World will be performed Nov. 10-14th, all shows at 8pm, with one 4pm matinee on Saturday the 14th. It features Kate Black-Regan, Angela Smith, Chris Davis, Andrew Carroll, Lee Pucklis, Adam Rzepka and Jen Huttenberger. The performance features live music by long-time collaborators Upholstery, performing original adaptations of Russian folk music and animations by Zac Palladino, Sean MacPhee.
