It's summer time again and that means the boys of summer are back and the four states are alive with baseball madness. With the Gettysburg Vintage Base Ball Tournament playing July 16th - 17th and the Hagerstown Suns swinging their bats through September 5th, Totem Pole Playhouse celebrates America's iconic game with Honus and Me, a comedy for the whole family. Opening July 26th tickets are only $5 for audience members ages 21 and younger. Just mention the code "little league" when you call the box office.
Wil Love said, "I'm thrilled to be directing the largest cast of the season in such a hilarious family comedy. Our cast is larger than some baseball teams!" Honus and Me tells the story of a young boy who finds himself face to face with baseball legend Honus Wagner after finding Wagner's coveted 1909 baseball card. Together they travel back in time to see if the young man has what it takes to step in for the legend and be the hero of the 1909 World Series.
Mark the dates on your calendars and bring the little leaguers out to the Playhouse for only $5. Then continue the baseball magic with a trip to a Hagerstown Suns game or take a trip down memory lane with the Gettysburg Vintage Base Ball Tournament. From the first pitch to the last out, the boys of summer and Totem Pole Playhouse are a winning team!
Post show discussion between the audience and the cast will be Friday, July 29th immediately following the evening performance.
