THE LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS represents Neil Simon at his funniest. Barney Cashman is a middle-aged, married restaurant manager who is undergoing a lustful mid-life crisis. He'd like to take part in the sexual revolution before it's too late. A gentle soul with no experience in adultery, he realizes that his mother's apartment is empty all afternoon one day each week. But when he attempts to seduce three very different women he has encountered, the hilarious results are not exactly what he expected. It's a rollicking comedy romp.
THE LAST OF THE RED HOT LOVERS stars Richard Dennis Johnson, Chelsea Day, Lydia Jane Graeff and Lisa Lutton Weitzman. This production also marks Robert Campbell's directorial debut at Theatre Harrisburg.
This program is funded, in part, by the Cultural Enrichment Fund, the capital region's united arts fund. Theatre Harrisburg is the Resident Theatre Company of Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts
