The WST for Kids Series welcomes Ramona Quimby live on Saturday, June 1st. This delightful musical is sure to charm audiences of all ages with performances at 10:30 am, 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm.

Kids and their grown up friends will enjoy the latest breathless adventure of the world's most animated elementary school student. Ramona, the exasperating but lovable third-grader, feels her life is a mess. Her older sister Beezus is a pain, her Aunt Bea may marry a dork, and her Dad lost his job. Ramona faces these challenges as audiences laugh and cheer her on!

Newberry Award-winning author Beverly Cleary has written many popular children's books, including the celebrated Ramona series, which have captured the hearts of children for generations. Everyone will fall in love with Cleary's curious and rambunctious heroine Ramona as she, with the help of her family, learns that the best way to face life's obstacles is together.

The Walnut Street Theatre for Kids Series is celebrated for bringing families together through reading and the arts. Each season encourages children to first read the books with a grown up friend, then watch the stories come to life on-stage. The Walnut takes pride in bridging the communication gap between parents (and grandparents!) and their kids.
Ramona Quimby is produced by TheatreworksUSA. TheatreworksUSA is a national touring theatre that has given more than 90 million children and their families with opportunities to enjoy original theatrical productions in the US and Canada. TheatreworksUSA brings professional theatre to children and families who may not otherwise have access to performing arts.

Tickets for Ramona Quimby are $10-$16. This one hour musical is recommended for audiences grades K-6.
