In 1959 Dick Clark had an idea... Hire some busses, load up the world's brightest stars and a generation's greatest songs and take the show on the road. Fast forward to 2006, pop music legends Bobby Vee and Fabian had the idea to recreate the old Caravan of Stars shows for Dick Clark's American Bandstand Theatre in Branson, Missouri. The show played to packed houses for three years before heading back out on the road in 2009.

The show continues in 2017 starring 60's legends Shirley Alston Reeves (Original lead singer of The Shirelles), Brian Hyland, The Chiffons, Chris Montez and Merrilee Rush all backed by The Killer Vee's. Dick Clark will make several appearances on the video screen taking the audience right back to the glory days of American Bandstand!

The Original Stars of American Bandstand come to the State Theatre on Saturday, October 28 at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $59/$45/$39 and can be purchased by visiting the State Theatre Box Office, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610-252-3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org. Sponsored by N. Pugliese, Inc.

These are the voices and this is the music that defined a generation. Featuring 53 top 40 records and 22 solid gold records, it's a magical night to remember!
