The Broadway Boys, who infuse elements of pop, gospel, funk and jazz into Broadway standards, will perform at the State Theatre in Easton on Friday, January 13th at 8 PM.

Tickets at $35 and $30 for children 10 & under can ordered at the State Theatre Box Office, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610-252-3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org

The Broadway Boys were created in June of 2005 to play a single night at a club in New York City. The overwhelming response and a packed bar forced the club to bring the boys back again for another sold out evening. Realizing that this group had serious growth potential, The Boys decided to focus and develop their product into the “symphony of sound” that they have become.

The Broadway Boys is a collection of male voices currently working on the New York stage. The Boys add elements of Pop, Funk, Gospel, Jazz, and Folk to showtunes and classic pop songs. Performing in groups of six, the Boys are able explore harmonies rarely presented by Broadway singers.

Their new CD "Lullaby of Broadway," was released in June on the PS Classics label, and contains such Broadway Boys favorites as "Defying Gravity," "Lullaby of Broadway," "Old Devil Moon," "Aquarius" and "Shadowland," as well as tunes that were chosen and arranged specifically for this debut disc, including "Mama, a Rainbow" and "The Impossible Dream."
