The Media Theatre's "The Sound of Music" continues its run with special times during the holiday weeks. The holiday weeks' schedule include extra matinees as children and teens are on winter break, and the afternoon performances allow families to have a day of music theatre without interrupting holiday gatherings or scheduled activities.
Broadway's Brad Little is Captain von Trapp in Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical about the nun who becomes a governess to his children, catapulting them to historical fame as a singing troupe during the Nazi invasion of Austria. Songs include the worldwide hits "Do Re Mi", "Climb Every Mountain" and "Edelweiss", as well as lesser known titles that are not in the film version such as "No Way To Stop It" and "How Can Love Survive?".
