The holiday season is in full swing with Star of the Day's "Scrooge! The Musical" opening on Friday, November 30, 2018 and running for 8 performances at McCoole's Arts & Events Place in Quakertown, PA.

The famous miser, Ebenezer Scrooge (Benjamin Ruth), on his magical journey of redemption as ghosts from the past, present and future visit him on Christmas Eve. Based on Charles Dickens' classic "A Christmas Carol," this big Broadway-style musical warms the hearts of the entire family with bright tunes and a colorful cast of familiar characters including the Fezziwigs (John Corl and Florence Taylor), the Cratchits (Mike Daniels, Allie Sacher, Martha Cratchit, Tessa Seals, Tanner Sheridan, Hannah Kern) and the endearing Tiny Tim (Tyler Turansky.) Directed by Will Windsor Erwin, Vocally Directed by Amanda Pascale, choreographed by: Kirsten Almeida, and Stage Managed by Alexis Leon.

This will be the close of Star of the Day's 4th Theatrical Season in Quakertown. The past four seasons boasts hits such as "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," "Man of La Mancha," "Oliver!" "Little Shop of Horrors," "LES MISERABLES," and "Gypsy" as well as a summer theatre camp and Shakespeare series.

Star of the Day was founded as a full-service entertainment company in April 2011 after the sudden passing of Founder Kirsten Almeida's lifelong friend, Bethany Pacheco-Brum. Starting the company was a way "to follow my passion and provide a space for others to follow suit." The company has raised more than $30,000 for cancer-related causes and helped aspiring actors and singers with more than $3,000 in scholarships.

Performances will take place on Fridays, November 30, December 7, 14 at 7:30PM, Saturdays, December 1, 8, 15 at 7:30PM and Sundays December 2 & 9 at 2PM
