The sounds of '60's pop hits will fill the air on Wednesday night August 19 at 7:30pm when The Media Theatre presents the Roger Ricker & Friends concert "Good Vibrations".
Ricker's annual fundraiser has a different theme each summer and special guests throughout the two-act show. Ricker has performed in over 90 musicals, plays, and children's shows at the theatre. Recently he was seen in "Aladdin Jr" and "The Who's Tommy" and will be appearing in the upcoming "Gypsy".
This year's special guests include Brandon Ranalli, 12, of Media, who will showcase his dancing abilities which landed him the title role in the theatre's holiday show "Billy Elliot: The Musical". He shares the role with West Chester's Gunar Daniels, also 12.
Kelly Briggs also joins the line-up during "Good Vibrations". He'll perform a legendary song from his music theatre repertoire.
The State Street Miracles, the theatre's performance troupe of adults with developmental disabilities, will sing a medley of well known tunes.
Several children and teens also highlight the evening with solos and original pieces and all of them will join on stage decked out in costumes for "Monster Mash".
