Join the ladies of Revival Burlesque as they turn their comic scrutiny to the ubiquitous images that have become the wallpaper of the American landscape: the art of Norman Rockwell. On Friday, April 16 at 8pm and Saturday, April 17 at 8 and 10pm, Revival Burlesque presents NORMAL ROCKHARD'S ALL AMERICAN PIN-UP SHOW! Tickets are $15 at the door, or buy your tickets in advance by visiting walkingfishtheatre.com. Never a handling fee!

Norman Rockwell's images are loved by many but reviled by some for his photographic realism and portrayal of an idealized America. In NORMAL ROCKHARD'S ALL-AMERICAN PIN-UP SHOW, it's not the images or the artist themselves that Revival Burlesque satirizes, but popular sentiment toward American idealism.

Icons of all-American wholesomeness become fodder for comedy in this show, hosted by the fictional painter Normal Rockhard (played by Waitstaff performer Jim Boyle), and scripted by veteran comedic writer, Max Guerin. Experience Revival Burlesque and Cabaret Red Light veteran Svedka von Shotz's cooking demonstration and song stylings. Of course, no Revival Burlesque show would be complete without the dancers. DD Ramona, Randi Warhol, Jo-Jo Johanson and Dina Colada will be the spring chickens that tickle your funny bone.

REVIVAL BURLESQUE: Founded in 2007 by burlesque veteran Annie A-Bomb, Revival Burlesque has been called "the thinking man's girlie show", and "illegitimate theater". Their ensemble approach to creating shows is hallmarked by piquant and fast-paced humor.

Tickets are $15 for Revival Burlesque's NORMAL ROCKHARD'S ALL-AMERICAN PIN-UP SHOW, and are available at the door one hour prior to curtain. Because these shows often sell out, we recommend you purchase in advance by visiting our website, http://www.walkingfishtheatre.com, where there's never a handling fee. Come join us at Walking Fish Theatre, 2509 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19125 on Friday, April 16 at 8pm, and Saturday, April 17 at 8 and 10pm.
