KidzFest begins Friday, October 30 at 6pm with the Halloween Shebang, an old-fashioned party designed for families with children ages 5-12. Apple bobbing, ghosts, bones, musical chairs and wacky witches are just some of the things to be experienced! Admission is free. Please call or go online for a reservation.

Plays & Players Presents ArcheDream for HUMANKIND, which uses archetypal characters that perform allegories, or dreams, to personify vital issues pertaining to our lives. ArcheDream's costumes are illuminated with ultra-violet light, which accentuates the supernatural aspect and reveals the dreamscape as the action unfolds. Celebrate Halloween on Saturday, October 31 at 11am with a Mask Making Workshop led by ArcheDream artists followed immediately at 1pm with their Mask and Movement Workshop. ArcheDream will close the day with their Chorus of Dreams, a show that explores the wonders of black light with their colorful masks and costumes along with original music, various forms of dance along with multimedia projections to tell their story.

Nelson's Illusions will take over the fun November 7 and 8 with performances at 11am and 2pm both days. Nelson's Illusions is a unique variety show featuring a family trio of skilled magicians and illusionists that combines a dazzling blend of theater, mystery, comedy and romance presented in a variety format. It features a mix of large stage illusions, audience participation routines, an award winning bird act, special effects and a wide selection of stunning magical impossibilities! Nelson's Illusions has been seen in over 32 countries and over 40 television shows!

During the final weekend, Saturday November 14 and Sunday November 15, both days at 1pm, parents and children can participate in Have I Got Something to Tell You!, a workshop where adults and children explore the theater in its oldest form - oral storytelling. Theatre games warm up the voice and body while props, and costume pieces inspire creativity. "Facilitators provide guidance; you do the work. Wear comfortable clothes and sneakers."
