Tony Award-winning star of stage and screen, Jane Krakowski ("Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," "30 Rock"), brought some holiday cheer to Philadelphia when she appeared in the Broadway Dreams Foundation's sixth annual White Christmas at The Inn at Grace Winery, hosted by Vicki and Chris Le Vine on Sunday, December 13, 2015. In addition to Krakowski, the holiday benefit cabaret also featured performances talented local BDF Philadelphia youth performers alongside "Glee" star Alex Newell, Quentin Earl Darrington (Ragtime), Sidney DuPont (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), Tyler Hanes (A Chorus Line), Greg Kamp (Catch Me If You Can), Donnie Kehr (Jersey Boys), Ginna Le Vine ("Kid Witness"), Kirsten Scott (Big Fish) and Matthew Scott (Jersey Boys). Each year hundreds of students receive valuable musical theatre training through BDF programs offered in partnership with Philadelphia's Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts.
The Broadway Dreams Foundation, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to training, mentoring and presenting career opportunities to anyone interested in the performing arts, regardless of socioeconomic background. In 2014, over 40% of the students who attended a BDF program were on full or partial scholarship. Proceeds from White Christmas will allow BDF to offer opportunities to students in Philadelphia and other U.S. cities throughout the 2016 season
