Photo Flash: First Look at Mazeppa's SPRING AWAKENING, Opening 7/12

 

Director Rob Henry, music director Jerry Kapral, and choreographer Dawn Morningstar will lead the cast of thirteen in staging the Duncan Sheik/Steven Sater musical. Spring Awakening runs July 11-28, 2012 at the Christ Church Neighborhood House Theatre at 20 North American Street, Philadelphia. Advance tickets are $20 and can be purchased at www.mazeppaproductions.org. Tickets at the door are $25.

The winner of eight Tony Awards – including Best Musical – Spring Awakening is a coming of age story that tells the timeless story of self-discovery and budding sexuality as seen through the eyes of three naïve teenagers. Haunting and provocative, Spring Awakening celebrates an unforgettable journey from youth to adulthood with unforgettable power, poignancy, and passion. The cast of Spring Awakening is led by Jim Hogan, Breanna Pursell, and Nate Golden as Melchior, Wendla, and Moritz, respectively. Michael Gray, Ian Monaco, Billy Kametz, Jeremy Konopka, Zach Kononov, Jenna Kuerzi, Catherine Maeve Logan, Ian Monaco, Leeanna Rubin, Grace Tarves, and Brittany Taylor complete the cast of thirteen.
