Marx Brothers hijinks and hilarity reign supreme as the award-winning Actors' NET of Bucks County presents the musical comedy, Groucho: A Life in Revue.

Performing weekends April 17 through May 3 at the Heritage Center Theatre in Morrisville, the tuneful romp recreates the lives and careers of Groucho, Chico and Harpo with generous portions of Groucho's biting wit, Chico's zany humor and piano artistry, and Harpo's horn-honking pantomime and angelic genius in playing the harp. The show was written by Groucho's son, Arthur Marx, and Robert Fisher.

David Newhouse of Harrisburg stars as Groucho, who led the band of brothers throughout a brilliant vaudeville, Broadway and film career before reinventing himself as a master of ad libs on his long-running TV quiz show, You Bet Your Life. Susan Ferrara Barto of Yardley returns to the ActorsNET stage reprising her role as Chico, whom she played in the company's 2003 production of Animal Crackers. ActorsNET Cofounder and General Manager Joe Doyle of Morrisville also reprises his role as Harpo from Animal Crackers while doubling as the show's director. Professional harpist Gloria Galante of Bristol, understudied by harpist Julia Mae Staley of Morrisville, will step in for Doyle to perform one of Harpo Marx's classic harp routines.

The show also costars Sarah Webster of Morrisville as "The Girl," portraying multiple characters that display her vocal prowess and acting range. Virginia Barrie of Ewing, New Jersey appears as Margaret Dumont, victim of some of the Marx Brothers' most outrageous film pranks. The cast is rounded out by James Cordingley of Lawrence Township, New Jersey and Jerry Smith of Yardley, who play numerous parts, zipping in and out of the action while doubling as co-stage managers.
