Philadelphia's Walnut Street Theatre has announced its 2007-2008 season.

The season will mark the theatre's 199th of presenting theatre, and its 25th as a not-for-profit theatrical organization.

Man of La Mancha, with music by Mitch Leigh, lyrics by Joe Darion and a book by Dale Wasserman, based on the novel by Miguel de Cervantes, will be presented from September 4th through October 21st, 2007. The show recounts the tale of idealistic Don Quixote, his erstwhile steward Sancho Panza and his beloved - the fiery Aldonza.

Peter Pan will fly across the theatre from November 6th, 2007 through January 6th, 2008. The musical version of J.M. Barrie's classic about the adventures of an airborne Lost Boy features a score by Moose Charlap and Carolyn Leigh, with additions by Jule Styne, Betty Comden and Adolph Green.

Arthur Miller's The Price will be presented from January 15th through March 2nd. By the author of The Crucile and Death of a Salesman, The Price concerns two brothers who meet in the attic of their late parents' house after a 16-year estrangement - and who come to realize the price they have paid for their choices.

The Odd Couple will run from March 11th through April 27th. Neil Simon's classic comedy follows a neatnik named Felix and the slovenly Oscar; the pair's rooming together, inevitably, causes a series of complications.

Les Miserables, with music by Claude-Michel Schonberg, book by Alain Boublil and Schonberg, and English lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer, will storm the theatre from May 13th through July 13th. Set during the student revolution of the 19th century, the show follows an array of characters fighting for liberty and for love.  Les Miserables is based on the Victor Hugo novel
