The term "B-movie" describes a low-budget commercial motion picture from the Golden Age of Hollywood, usually intended as second feature. The term B movie continues to be used in the broader sense today to represent a low-budget horror, thriller or sci-fi film.
The cast of Asteroid promise an improvised B-movie based on a single suggestion with low budget staples like aliens, monsters, Soviets, and mad scientists. Audiences should probably expect a Vincent Price and Peter Lorre impersonation as well.
