Peter Nero and the Philly POPS Perform ULTIMATE POPS! Tonight

Peter Nero and the Philly POPS® will commence its April concert series, ULTIMATE POPS! at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia on Wednesday, April 11^th at 8:00 p.m.  GRAMMY-Award winning pianist Peter Nero will perform and conduct dozens of the region's most talented professional musicians in The POPS orchestra in Verizon Hall. 

ULTIMATE POPS! will include performances of Marriage of Figaro Overture by Mozart; When I Fall in Love. Soloist, Ron Kerber; Song of India. Soloist, Brian Pastor; 1812 Overture by Pytr I.Tchaikowsky; West Side Story: A Symphonic Portrait. Soloist, Peter Nero; Bugler's Holiday. Soloists, Philly Pops Trumpet section;  September (Earth Wind and Fire); Artie Shaw Clarinet Concerto. Soloist, Joe Smith; and Bolero by Maurice Ravel.
