Open Stage of Harrisburg returns to the Sunoco Performance Theatre at Whitaker Center with Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL, adapted and by Edward Alsedek. Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL tells the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge's encounter with the ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future.
Before the show, the entire family canl enjoy the wonderful food, festive holiday music, and a visit from the cast of Open Stage of Harrisburg's A CHRISTMAS CAROL when they go Dining with Dickens on December 2, 3 and 5 at Harrisburg Hilton! Patrons are encouraged to bring their holiday cheer and their camera.Dining with Dickens will take place at Raspberries, Hilton Harrisburg's award-winning restaurant, before the evening performances of Open Stage of Harrisburg's A CHRISTMAS CAROL on December 2 & 3. Patrons can enjoy music during Dining with Dickens, provided by the music group Seasons on December 2 and 5. Performing will be siblings Mary-Kate Spring and Mary-Grace Autumn Lee of Seasons on harp and hammered dulcimer. Seasons has performed Celtic, popular and original music in multiple states and countries and plays in a wide variety of venues, including coffeehouses, festivals, churches and the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire. They have also appeared multiple times on both local and National television shows. Seasons has released three CDs, which have been reviewed in publications including Musicmakers' Magazine, Faith and Family Magazine, and The National Examiner.

This year marks Open Stage's eleventh annual presentation of Dickens' timeless holiday classic and Nick Hughes returns once again to his signature role of Ebenezer Scrooge. Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL runs from December 2 through December 5, 2010. Curtain is 7:30 pm on December 2 and 3, 2 pm on December 4 and 5. Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL will be presented in the beautiful Sunoco Performance Theatre at Whitaker Center, located at 222 Market St. in downtown Harrisburg. The Quandel Group and Pyramid Construction Services are sponsoring the 2010 production.
Admission to Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL is $27 regular and $21 for students with ID. Children under 12 are $15.
